Practice area
Other matters, case by case.
Beyond its named practice areas, the firm accepts other matters selectively — case by case, at the firm’s discretion. The initial consultation is $300 for one full hour, credited toward the engagement if we proceed, and it ends with a clear answer: a written quote, or a candid referral.

Credited toward the engagement if we proceed.
A clear answer
A written quote, or a candid referral elsewhere.
How to find out
Book the consultation and describe the matter. One full hour of attorney time, $300, credited toward the engagement if we go forward. You leave with either a written quote or a referral to someone better placed to help — and if the honest answer is that you do not need a lawyer at all, you will be told that too.
The firm’s practice areas are listed below. If your matter falls within one of them, start on that page.

Common questions
Other matters
What kinds of matters do you take?
Beyond the practice areas listed on this page, there is no fixed list. Some matters fit this practice and some do not, and the assessment is specific to what you bring.
What happens if you cannot take it?
You are told at the consultation rather than weeks later, and where possible you are referred to someone who can. That is part of what the hour is for.
Is the consultation fee credited?
Yes. If we proceed, the full $300 is credited toward the engagement.
